NORMA Group acquires American provider of specialised Engineered Joining Technology solutions complementing its innovative product range

Lars Nordin, Managing Director of Distribution and Industry has decided to leave the company after 21 years at NORMA and ABA.

In cooperation with several approval companies as well as the German DIN standards committee, NORMA is now developing general approval criteria in order to use pipe couplings on an international scale on dry fire extinguishing pipes for marine applications. This is an area which at the moment lacks some generally accepted and approved test criteria.

The Board of Directors of NORMA Group elected John Stephenson to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective September 14, 2009. John Stephenson will be placed in charge of the Operation division of NORMA Group.
