NORMA Group delivers soundtracks for high-powered engines: On behalf of a sports car manufacturer NORMA Group has developed its first pipe system designed to transmit engine sounds.

Every day, about twenty employees of the Eichsfelder Werkstätten in Heilbad Heiligenstadt (a work centre for workers with disabilities) are packing a total 50,000 clamps for clients of NORMA Germany. The clamps are used for instance to fix tubes in cars and water pipes in buildings. For the first time ever, the employees of the work centre have been handling over ten million connectors this year.

Die NORMA Group AG remains on course for record performance after the first nine months of 2011. The SDAX company improved its sales by a considerable 22.2% to EUR 441.7 million between January and September 2011 (previous year: EUR 361.5 million).

NORMA Group has secured a large order from an internationally operating vehicle and engine manufacturer to develop and manufacture fluid systems for the transportation of fluids into the exhaust pipe to reduce nitrogen oxides.

NORMA Group AG continues to expand globally and develops the South American market. The company opened a sales and engineering office for South America in Santo André, Brazil, located about 20 kilometres outside of the metropolis São Paulo.
