ABA® - Safeseal Technology
Clamps are designed to have a clamping force reserve and not break. They maintain a continuous sealing force around the hose when tightened around the joint.
Hose and pipe clamps produced under the ABA® trademark are available in many types and standards ensuring that our customers enjoy the benefit of the highest achievable results on clamping force, tightening and breaking torque. ABA® is one of the very few manufacturers in our industry with access to extensive in-house system testing facilities.
The most well know product ABA® has to offer is the Worm Gear Clamp, according to the Swedish Standard SS 2298. The unique one-piece pressed housing design provides a high clamping force and a high break torque.
The ABA® Original worm gear clamp is also well known as "the blue housing clamp" and as "the professional clamp".
ABA products use the best steel qualities. Specially produced tubes are used for our ABA Original worm-drive housings that are pressed into their geometric final form in one single step. This results in a worm-drive housing without a joint – often the weakest point in achieving a high breaking torque.
